HT4018 Telehandler

4 Ton, 18 m High Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler for Construction & Mining
HT4018 Telehandler is a high‑lift 4 ton telehandler with approximately 18 m lifting height, engineered for demanding construction, mining and industrial projects where heavy loads must be placed on upper floors, rooftops or tall structures.
Its multi‑section telescopic boom and optimized load chart allow operators to work confidently at long reach while maintaining stability, safety and precise load control, even on challenging rough‑terrain job sites.
Lifting capacity: 4,000 kg
Max. lift height: ≈18.0 m
Drive / steering: 4×4 rough‑terrain, 4‑wheel steering

HAMAC HT4018 rough‑terrain telehandler extends the successful design of the HT4014 with extra boom height and outreach, making it ideal for high‑rise building projects, bridge construction, mining service platforms and large industrial plants.
Its long‑reach boom allows direct placement of pallets, precast concrete elements, steel structures and mechanical equipment onto elevated platforms, roof edges and scaffolding levels, reducing crane dependency and simplifying site logistics.

With pallet forks, buckets, lifting jibs and approved work platforms, the HT4018 telehandler can cover unloading, material handling and light aerial work on a single machine. It is an excellent choice for general contractors, rental fleets and industrial facility owners in markets such as Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa, who require a high‑reach telehandler that balances strong lifting capacity, practical outreach and maneuverability on uneven ground.

Preguntas Frecuentes

What kind of projects is the HT4018 designed for?
The HT4018 telehandler is designed for high‑rise building construction, bridge and viaduct projects, industrial plants, mining and energy facilities where heavy materials must be lifted to around 14–18 m. It is especially popular in Latin American markets such as Peru, Chile, Mexico and Brazil for multi‑storey housing and infrastructure works.
How does the HT4018 compare with the HT4014 or lower‑reach models? +
Compared with a 14 m 4 ton telehandler like the HT4014, the HT4018 offers additional lifting height and forward reach, which can reduce crane usage on many tasks. However, it is heavier and larger, so it is best suited to sites that frequently work above 14 m and require long‑reach load placement.
What are the main stability considerations at 18 m reach? +
At full height, telehandler capacity is reduced and stability becomes more sensitive to boom position and ground conditions. Operators must strictly follow the HT4018 load chart, avoid side slopes and operate slowly and smoothly at long reach. Outriggers or stabilisers (if fitted) must be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and soft or unstable ground should be reinforced before lifting.
Which attachments are most common on the HT4018 for construction work? +
Typical telehandler attachments include pallet forks for bricks and blocks, buckets for aggregates, jibs or hooks for suspended loads, and certified work platforms for installation work. On large sites, the HT4018 often works as a “site crane”, feeding multiple trades on different floors.
Can the HT4018 be used with man baskets for lifting people? +
Many high‑reach telehandlers, including the HT4018, can work with certified man baskets, provided local regulations and manufacturer instructions are followed. This requires approved attachments, emergency lowering controls, fall‑arrest systems and specific operator training for lifting personnel.
How does the HT4018 perform on rough or muddy ground? +
With 4×4 drive, heavy‑duty axles and large tyres, the HT4018 is built for rough terrain conditions typically found on construction sites, mines and energy projects. Ground must still be assessed carefully, especially near edges, trenches or basements, and high‑reach work should be avoided on very soft or unstable surfaces.
What are the key daily inspection points for the HT4018? +
Daily checks should cover engine and hydraulic fluid levels, tyres and wheel nuts, boom sections and wear pads, forks and attachments, safety devices, lights and alarms. Special attention should be given to boom extension wear, stabilisers (if equipped) and attachment locking systems when operating at high reach.
