HT6018 Telehandler Shipped for High-Rise Construction and Heavy Material Handling

HAMAC has completed the shipment of an HT6018 telehandler to a construction customer, adding a 6 ton, 17.6 m telescopic handler to jobsites that require both heavy lifting capacity and exceptional reach. As one of HAMAC's largest telehandler models, HT6018 is built for demanding projects where standard forklifts and smaller telehandlers cannot reach the required height or handle the required load.

HT6018 shipment and jobsite readiness

Before leaving the factory, each HT6018 undergoes full functional testing, covering hydraulic lifting, boom extension, steering modes and safety systems, to ensure the machine is ready for immediate deployment once it arrives at the customer's site. This shipment reflects HAMAC's ongoing support for international contractors who need reliable heavy telehandlers delivered on schedule for fast‑moving construction programs.

Key specifications of HT6018

HT6018 offers a maximum lifting height of 17.55 m and maximum outreach of 11.2 m, with a maximum capacity of 5500 kg on standard configuration. The machine is powered by a Yuchai engine rated at 122 hp (91 kW), paired with a torque converter transmission offering 4 forward and 4 reverse gears and a top travel speed of 40 km/h.

A robust chassis with 3.6 m wheelbase, 0.38 m ground clearance and FOPS level 2 cab certification supports stable operation even at full height and reach. Standard 440/80‑24 tubeless tires and a 4.1 m turning radius help the machine move confidently around active construction sites despite its large lifting envelope.

High-rise construction and steel erection

On high-rise building projects, HT6018's 17.6 m lifting height allows it to deliver formwork panels, rebar bundles and mechanical equipment directly to mid‑to‑upper floors, reducing dependence on tower cranes for routine material movement. This is especially valuable during floors where crane time is limited or shared across multiple trades.

With jib or beam‑lifting attachments, HT6018 also supports steel structure erection, positioning heavy steel members, purlins and cladding panels at height for connection crews. Its long outreach of 11.2 m lets operators place loads over obstacles or existing structures without repositioning the machine constantly.

Heavy pallet stacking and site logistics

Fitted with pallet forks, HT6018 becomes a heavy‑duty stacking tool for construction yards and logistics areas, handling palletised block, brick, steel coil and mechanical equipment up to 5500 kg. Its reach and capacity make it well suited for building high multi‑layer stacks in yards with limited ground space, keeping site logistics organized as material volumes increase.

Why customers choose HT6018

HT6018 gives contractors a single machine that can replace multiple smaller units for high‑reach and heavy‑load tasks, reducing equipment fleet complexity on large projects. Combined with HAMAC's export experience and after‑sales support, this shipment reinforces HT6018's role as a dependable choice for high-rise construction, steel erection and heavy material handling on demanding international jobsites.
