HAMAC Launches HT3510 Telehandler to Bridge the Gap Between Forklifts and High‑Reach Machines

HAMAC has announced the launch of its new HT3510 telehandler, a 10.6 m, 3.5 ton machine designed to fill the gap between yard forklifts and high‑reach telehandlers on construction and industrial sites.

With this model, the company is targeting contractors, rental fleets and industrial users who need to place heavy pallets several floors up but do not want the size, weight and cost of larger 14–18 m units.

Built around real jobsite demands

According to HAMAC, the HT3510 was developed in response to feedback from customers who were frequently pushing 7 m machines to their limits while still not needing a full high‑reach platform on most projects.

The new telehandler offers a maximum lifting height of 10.6 m, a rated capacity of 3,500 kg and a maximum outreach of 5.7 m, giving contractors enough reach for third and fourth floor work on typical buildings.

“Many of our customers told us they needed something in the middle – a machine that can safely place 3.5 ton loads at height, but still remain compact enough for tight sites and mixed indoor‑outdoor work,” said a HAMAC product manager during the launch event.

Compact dimensions, higher reach

Despite the extended reach, the HT3510 keeps a compact footprint, with a length to carriage of 5.8 m, overall width of 2.2 m and height of 2.55 m.

A wheelbase of 3.15 m and ground clearance of 0.35 m are intended to balance maneuverability with stability, while an external turning radius of 4.25 m helps operators work in congested yards and partially built structures.

The machine’s unladen weight of 9,500 kg provides the mass needed to support its 3.5 ton rating across the working envelope when used within the load chart.

Powertrain and hydraulic performance

Power comes from a Yuchai four‑cylinder diesel engine rated at 103 hp (77.3 kW), delivering up to 400 Nm of torque at 1,400 rpm.

The engine is paired with a torque converter transmission offering four forward and four reverse gears, enabling a top travel speed of 35 km/h for efficient movement around larger job sites.

A gear‑type hydraulic pump with a 120 L/min flow drives the boom and attachment functions, with typical cycle times of 10 seconds for lifting, 7 seconds for lowering, 12 seconds for extension and 8.6 seconds for retraction.

HAMAC notes that these cycle times were chosen to give operators a responsive yet controllable feel when repeatedly placing pallets at height throughout the day.

Safety and operator environment

The HT3510 features immersed multi‑disc service brakes on both axles and an automatic air‑cut parking brake, designed to maintain stopping performance in dusty, heavy‑duty conditions.

Steering and drive are configured on both front and rear axles, and the cab is certified to FOPS level 2, providing protection from falling objects in typical telehandler applications.

Noise levels are rated at 82 dB at the driving position and 105 dB to the environment, and hand‑arm vibration is listed at 2.50 m/s², figures that fall in line with common expectations for machines in this class.

Targeted at contractors, plants and rental fleets

HAMAC sees the HT3510 as a strong candidate for rental fleets, mid‑sized contractors and industrial plant operators who need one machine to cover a wide range of daily lifting and material handling tasks.

In construction, the company expects the new telehandler to be used for moving pallets of bricks, blocks, cement and roofing materials to upper floors, as well as handling formwork and reinforcement bundles.

In industrial environments, typical applications include lifting pumps, motors, spare parts and fabrication materials to mezzanines and service platforms where conventional forklifts cannot reach.

Part of a growing telehandler range

The HT3510 joins HAMAC’s existing line‑up of telehandlers, which ranges from compact 7 m units to larger 13.8 m and 17.6 m models designed for high‑rise and long‑reach work.

By adding a 10.6 m, 3.5 ton option, the manufacturer aims to give customers more flexibility to match machine size to actual project requirements rather than always stepping up to the largest model available.

HAMAC states that the machine shares key components and maintenance practices with other telehandlers in its range, simplifying fleet management and parts stocking for customers running multiple units.

Availability

The HT3510 is now available through HAMAC dealers and distribution partners, with various attachment options including pallet forks and buckets offered to suit different jobsite needs.

Demonstration units are expected to be deployed to selected rental partners and key accounts in the coming months, allowing operators to experience the new telehandler on real job sites before making a purchase decision.
